About Zephyr

Zephyr is a sweet but nervous, shut down girl who came from the pound. It seems everything is new to her, but she is stepping up to some of the new challenges. She is learning to walk on lead in quiet bushy places with experienced handlers. She enjoys it but spooks very easily. We have tried to introduce to some gentle playful dogs, but she is not ready for engagement. Everything is just so new to her. She is affectionate to people she has a relationship with. She is looking for an experienced family who have time and can put in the work to let her feel comfortable with the outside world and learn that people do not have to be scary. She is amazingly agile and has been able to escape from climb proof yards at our shelter. She has calm energy and copes well with a lot of time inside. She has a short coat and weighs just over 23kg.
