Sawyer is a sweet 4.5-year-old boy with a gentle soul and a love for the simple things in life — his family, a comfy place to relax, and of course, a tennis ball or two! This anxious little guy looks to his people for reassurance and comfort, so he’ll thrive in a calm, quieter home where he can feel safe and settled. Once Sawyer trusts you, he’s happiest lounging nearby and spending quality time with his family. Sawyer loves enrichment activities and enjoys using his clever nose to sniff out tasty treats hidden in his toys. Keeping his mind busy is a great way to help build his confidence and keep him happy. Sawyer does have fur missing along his back, which means he’ll need to be primarily an indoor dog to protect his sensitive skin from the sun and avoid sunburn. Thankfully, he’s more than content to spend his days relaxing inside with the people he loves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience and kindness with quiet affection, Sawyer may just be the perfect addition to your family.
