About Scuba

Scuba is a sweet, gentle girl who forms incredibly strong bonds with the people she trusts. While she can be quite avoidant and unsure around new people, with patience and the freedom to approach at her own pace, you'll soon see her affectionate and goofy personality shine through. Scuba can find new environments overwhelming and may become hypervigilant while she's adjusting. She'll need a calm, predictable home where introductions to new places and experiences are taken slowly, allowing her to build confidence in her own time. To help set her up for success, Scuba is looking for a Foster to Adopt home. This allows us to support both Scuba and her new family while she settles into her new environment and adjusts to living with new people. Scuba would be best suited to a quiet, adult-only home with someone who understands that trust takes time. Once she feels safe, she is incredibly loving, playful and rewarding to be around. She has shown signs of separation anxiety while in our care, so she'd benefit from a home where someone is around more often than not, particularly while she settles in. Scuba could also potentially live with another calm, compatible dog following a successful introduction, and having a canine friend may help her feel more secure. If you have the patience to let Scuba settle at her own pace, you'll be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate best friend who is well worth the wait. My adoption fee includes desexing, health check, microchipping, I am up-to-date with vaccinations and eligible for free lifetime registration.
